Every year for the last 15 years Roy pulled this bullshit act when he got punked by lower seeded teams in the tournament and the people at Kansas bought it. Roy cares so much about the players the fans would say and it seemed true when he rejected UNC 3 years ago. "I couldn't desert my players" he said. That was then this is now. Apparently the current players don't deserve that respect. This time around Roy not only took a giant shit on Aaron Miles, Wayne Simien, Keith Langford, Jeff Graves, Michael Lee and Moulaye Niang. He flat out lied to the incoming crop of recruits then performed the scorched earth maneuver of getting the athletic director fired 2 days before he left while letting KU think that firing Al Bohl would keep him here. You would think that would be embarrassment enough but Roy then topped it off by openly recruiting David Padgett an incoming KU recruit in an ESPN interview stating that he should not be "stuck out there" just because he gave a letter of intent to Kansas. So here's to you Roy a true piece of shit excuse for a human being and fully deserving of years of failure and criticism ahead of you.
